We know that many plastics are inherently flammable; however, they also see substantial use in critical construction, electrical and transport applications that must meet fire safety standards either by mandatory regulations or voluntary standards. This means that measures must be taken to increase their safety in applications where there is the risk of fire

Often the most cost-effective method of doing this is to add a flame-retardant additive during processing, as it can prevent ignition or spreading of flame in plastic material and are added to plastics to meet these requirements.

Thus, using these additives can save lives, prevent injuries and property losses, and protect the environment through fire prevention and limiting of fire damage.

We offer two types of Flame retardant masterbatches to meet V0, V2 rating of UL – Halogen-free, with Halogen.
