Slip Masterbatches

are used to reduce friction between the polymers and processing equipment and also between polymer-polymer inter-faces, providing slip effect and anti-block performance. In Moulding applications, Slip also works as mould releasing agent and plate removing agent also.

Basically two types of Slip Agents are available. One is long term Slip Agent and another one is short term Slip Agent. Long term Slip MB is used if printing or sealing is carried out directly after processing the film. Also long term Slip MB is used where high processing temperatures are required. Short term Slip MB is used on very thin films and mould releasing agents.
